If you don't : see it, try not to render it. : I've noticed a few areas in New Alexandria where parts of the buildings : themselves like balconies start to fade in and out or flicker in pretty : much the same way the AI usually do, so I think they were already pushing : things pretty hard on that level. But where you start out, you do see the bottom. You're not that far above sea level, there's just little in the ways of roads below. There are a few more cordoned off areas, including the Falcon level, where giant walls segment the buildings (rather like New Mombasa). The far off area shows off the Olympic Tower even hinting where the next level of the game takes us.
