In Response To: Comparative Grimdark Levels, H1-Reach (General Battuta) Cross the ditched Elite Spec Ops game with Star Wars Republic Commando, and what do you get? Awesome, that's what. I mean, just think about how awesome that would be. Rough ideas: -Maximum grimdark rating -lead an Elite special operations team into the heart of enemy territory -set in late 2552 -game starts with you bringing down Reach's defenses and watching it glassed -dispatched to the last known location of Thel; levels set on 04 see you desperately trying to prevent the Flood's escape before evacuation -uncover evidence that the Great Journey is a sham but cover it up, kinda explore the theme of sudden atheism/depression as your team realise you've got no afterlife but continue serving anyway as you have no other purpose in life -strike deep into the Quarantine Zone helping to disable potential escape vectors -meet up with Half-Jaw post-Brute uprising and help him take control of that cruiser he mentions -fight alongside the humans in the final levels and help secure the Ark Man, if they did that properly, and went with a seriously dark vibe, I would happily pay £60+ for the standard edition alone! :D
