In Response To: Awesome. (Gravemind) : (contrary to : statements that they went back to the Halo 3 system), No, they didn't say this. They said the reintroduced a bit of the 'damage bleed' to your own sheilds from fire hitting the vehicle. They never said they went all the way back. Also: Bungie has made odd UI decisions with vehicles ever since Halo 2. In halo 1, you would have a clear on-screen indicator in vehicles to tell you when you could fire the main weapon again (see Scorpion and Banshee), but after that they never did. The scorpion is almost O.k. since you have the big visual reload mechanism now, but the banshee is still in this sort of 'i'll just mash the trigger until it fires again' place. I mean, i've been playing Halo for more than 7 years now, and even I still found myself mashing the trigger on the Scorpion in ODST to get the best firing rate. I find it quite weird how, with the player UI, they've gone back to completely showing exactly what all your health/sheild is in a convenient bar, but with the vehicles, all we get is vague puffs of smoke.
