The problem with Halo 2 territories is that once you grabbed two of them, there was no real incentive to stretch your forces and go for the third one. Especially on maps like Sanctuary, where you could just cap the bases and then shoot them as they spawned in the center and came at you. I would like an option for both H3 style and H2 style, but speaking of the hills thing, I would like an actual multi-hill KotH, which would probably be done in the Territories gametype. Standing in a territory would gather points, so the incentive would be to stand in as many as possible at the same time to win. Leaving a territory would stop gathering points. So you would have to decide if you want to spread forces and go for max points per tick, or focus on fewer territories while sending the teammates to push the team off the other ones.
