In Response To: My (and your) feature requests for Reach (FyreWulff) •Make Legendary harder. This will give the skilled players a reason to get better. I should not be able to beat the game on Legendary on my first go. •Cut the fat. Don't pad the game for length or make us wander a hub. Make the game like Rocky and end it at the absolute peak, however long that may be. •Always prioritize action over cinema/spectacle/scripted events. •Give us cool encounters. You can make the player look up and down for a change. •No focus groups. Go with your guts, not by committee. •No escort missions. These are stupid and unfun. •30 seconds max without shooting anything. •Reward outrageous displays of skill. Give us some achievements you don't think anybody can hit… then we will strive to hit them. •No barriers or kill zones anywhere in the game. •Make every weapon useful like they were in Halo 1. Don't make PP/BR the best combo for 95% of the game. •Hire GhaleonEB to design Reach's firefight. •Hire Greg Kirkpatrick to write Reach's story. •Never ever make any concession with casual gamers in mind. In fact, develop the game without so much as even uttering or thinking the word casual. •Design a game, not a sandbox. •Make every part awesome. We should be saying 'awesome' all the time. Giving us more of the same isn't going to cut it. •Jump us right in. Who needs tutorials; that's what the manual is for. •Improve the AI so brutes aren't idiots. Plasma shots should drop their shields, not blow off their armor. •Add back in flag throwing.
