In Response To: "Sticky aim" needs to be optional in Reach. (Gravemind) There are two forms of aim assist in all the Halog ames... 1. Auto Aim: Auto Aim has been in console FPS games since atleast Goldeneye 007. It's where the crosshair or gun automatically points at the nearby target. This is what Gravemind (and myself) want to see as an optional feature just so we do not get screwed over by terrible programing of the feature itsself. 2. Bullet Magnetism: This is what makes it easier to shoot the enemy team, this form of aim assist or lack of is what makes it difficult to betray your teammates. When you have a red reticule bullet magnetism causes your bullets or other fired projectiles to curve towards your enemy. It is there to assist in making the game more playable online and offline. Halo 2 had too much or that was the common complaint of Halo 2's multiplayer. The first one is what Gravemind is refering to... quit mixing them up people!
