In Response To: Re: "Team Betrayals" (Gravemind) : "Team Betrayals" isn't exactly a good example as it eliminates all : aim assistance, not just crosshair magnetism/sticky aim. Remember, there : are two forms of aim assist: sticky aim and "auto-aim/bullet : magnetism/whatever it's called," the latter which is the feature : where the game automatically adjusts bullet trajectories and is indicated : by a red crosshair. That form of aim assist I can deal with, and it's : fine at Halo 3 levels. It's the crosshair getting forced towards a target : that bothers me. Once in a blue moon does the reticule magnetism ever throw me off. It does happen, but not much more often than any other common problem such as lagging out. I think we should switch your opinion. They should get rid of the bullet magnetism and keep the reticule magnetism, because even if the bullet magnetism was there in place of the reticule magnetism, it would still be hard as hell to hit someone. You also have to look at this from the standpoint of a new player. Have you ever seen a new person playing Halo? They couldn't hit you with aim assist, bullet magnetism, and with you standing perfectly still. If all of those cushions were gone, new players would be discouraged from playing the game. I think that they should make the stuff optional. If you want to play without bullet magnitism or aim assist, you should have that choice, but they should not program it into the game.
