In Response To: Re: Narc's "Halo 3 Partnership" article (Narcogen) : Experience is only part of it, not everything. One could play a thousand : games and never learn anything because one never thought about it. : However, since it's been brought up, why not post a comment on the article,
: That seems only fair, no? This isnt a personal attack on you Narc - but you have to keep in mind doing well against level 13's is not the same as constantly doing well against 50's - the strategy changes a lot as you go up the ranks and while you have experiance playing against lower levels ide be willing to bet theres a lot you havent seen. you mentioned you like to tag along with another player - this is actually a pretty bad strategy as one rocket can take you both out, it tends to be better to split up in such a way that everyone can shoot the same spot on the map, but someone cant quite hit 2 of you at once - with randoms i guess this is near enough impossible to set up, but if your playing with randoms ide hazard a guess that you cause as much damage as you do help when you follow someone around as you dont know theyre intentions and when they may be trying to sneak up on someone etc - again not trying to be a prick, just offering a bit of advice, it annoys the hell out of me when someone decides to tag onto me as it really restricts what i can do and yeah, i agree with the notion that the power exchange changes and you have to adapt to it quickly, however its not as jarring as you may think, in a sense anyone can issue a command just by calling something out - and in general when you play with certain people enough you sort of get a feel of what you need to do on a certain map
