In Response To: Narc's "Halo 3 Partnership" article (Hawaiian Pig) I personally agree with what Narc said. It is true that power weapons and locations are a big part of halo, but it's foolish to say that this notion comprises most of the multiplayer experience. While controlling resources can sway the battle one way or another, so much of it comes down to planning and reaction. A good team with BRs can beat out a mediocre team with Rockets. As far as teammates of equal skill are concerned, I think the same tenants of lead and wing can exist. When it comes down to it, the lead is receiving the information from the wing and then he issues a command based on this information and the information he knows. If both players are equal (and more importantly, acknowledge this), there's no reason both players shouldn't come to the same conclusion separately. In this case, we go back to the issue of communication. If one player is giving a gold mine of information about the enemy and the status of resources, while the other is not, the player that is not is at a disadvantage.
