You see his armor. His armor, in turn, embodies how you see that character. John's character is a reflection of the world around him. When we saw that dramatic change, we saw a new chapter in the Halo saga opening up. Things were going to be different, that much was obvious. But now he's the same old soldier we met six years ago. A lot has happened in those six years, but the current armor doesn't reflect that at all. That's why, at the most broken down level, I'm disappointed.
