I thought the : consensus here (which I kept arguing against) was that Staten's comments : meant it wasn't canon. : In any case, my point is that we are intelligent enough to understand that : different versions of the universe can exist. So what? ...is that ILB is considered canon by Bungie... unless something in the games conflict with it. Then the games take precedence. That's pretty much the same with the books as well if I remember correctly.
