But let's not start a flame war, because I believe Louis Wu already said to you what had to be said: : This isn't a useful suggestion. :( Part of the problem is that folks can read : without understanding - as I believe you've just demonstrated. Owned. Now, speaking from experience, I've submitted quite a few videos to Louis Wu recently. Each of them were rejected, but he replied to my e-mails within about an hour after submission. Each time he's said they've gotten better though and maybe sometime soon I'll get one accepted. I have one in the works but after reading this I'm a bit discouraged. As time goes on it gets harder and harder to get a video on the front page here. I agree with what Louis has said here, though. It just had to be done. Some suggestions to help lighten the workload is to maybe post what you first said in this thread, Louis, right to the frontpage. Then, write up some new guidlines and post that link on the frontpage also under the "Hot Pages". Find some others who are willing to help in filtering through the video submissions. Setup multiple e-mail accounts, one for each region of the globe (like europemovies@bungie.org, useastmovies@bungie.org, uswestmovies@bungie.org, and so on) and tell people to submit their videos to the corresponding e-mail address to where they live. Then find people as dedicated as you are to halo.bungie.org to spend the same amount of time you do checking that address and deciding whether or not the movie is worthy of announcement.
