But then you're using incorrect terminology. A minigun IS a gatling gun. It's a gatling gun that fires small rounds. A 30mm "minigun", like the GAU-8 carried on the A-10, is a gatling cannon. They both fire bullets, and they both have gatling barrels, but one fires shells that are massively larger than the other. Now, if you're aware that you're using incorrect terminology, why use it?
