The rounds are incredibly lighter, incredibly cleaner (resulting in a faster fire rate), and MUCH, MUCH more powerful. They are fired in a far different type of mechanism than exists in current tank turrets. It can be done now ... just imagine what can be done in the future. Fifty years ago, I doubt (obviously) that people were thinking that undersea vehicles (submarines) would be able to fire armaments (missiles) onto the ground that could destroy the world (nuclear missiles). That's just fifty years. I have a pretty good feeling that Halo might be a little more than fifty years in our future. Hugs and Kisses, Nathan
