Oh, I wasn't trying to state that all men find the same crap attractive. But you do bring up an interesting point involving society and peer pressure. I think you're right that the "attractiveness" of some women is almost entirely cultural.

Yeah. I agree and think it's rather shameful, really.

I probably disagree with you here. I hate the term homophobe because it's probably one of the most misused terms. Of all the people I know who would be called homophobic by people who call people homophobes, only two or three are actually homophobic. Of course, they don't handle themselves well in any situation that suggests sexuality.
But in any case, I'm often called homophobic because of my position on same-sex marriage. I am not scared of homosexuals. I don't even dislike homosexuals. I don't really care what someone's sexual preference is. Unfortunately, some people see an argument against same-sex marriage as being "homophobic" even though I believe it is a solid argument against it.
Being a practicing Christian also causes problems. I've been called a homophobic because I'm a Christian. Granted, Christianity doesn't see homosexuality in the best way, but that doesn't mean anything about me or how I treat homosexuals and certainly nothing about me being afraid of homosexuality. The view on homosexuality in the Bible is tricker than most realize.
Even the people who hate homosexuals and wish that they were all burned at the stake aren't necessarily homophobic. Many of them are, sure, but by applying the term as a blanket statement to all of the people in a particular viewpoint it really destroys any real point someone was trying to make.

BUT, I do agree that many men just play lemming and jump off the proverbial sexuality cliff. Whether that is because they are homophobic or just plain disrespectful to women, I think there is a problem and I wish there was something I could do about it.
