*note: at the time I first read this I thought it was a response to my post because no one ever updates their subject lines. Seriously people... this forum's format confuses me enough as it is...
Anyway, I had a whole response typed up and figured it wouldn't hurt to post it.*

I think what you just said was that the term "men" is ambiguous...
Sorry, old habits and grammatical quirks die hard. I meant "men" as male adults, and I think you figured it out. What I'm confused by is how you were suggesting I use the term "men"...
It's a little frustrating when someone goes and switches the correct terms on you part with through school. Men, he/she, people, their, mankind, humankind... I get rather lost in it all.

Ah, this is actually a well-worn debate. I agree with you 100%, but there are many people [is that what I'm supposed to do?] who disagree and state that religious beliefs are only religious if they are beliefs in gods. Unfortunately it seems that dictionaries aren't a help as the dictionary I used once sided with the "in" theory.
I find that totally bogus, however, and rather chose to ignore the dictionary.
(trivia, for some reason the people who were opposed to the idea that religious beliefs are beliefs about gods were all atheists. I'm hoping it was just a coincidence)

I see how everyone, in a sense, acts on their religious beliefs. I didn't quite follow what you meant by imposing them. What is being imposed and what is it being imposed upon? My guess is you mean that religious beliefs are being imposed on other people's beliefs.
Also, as a side note, is that statement accurate of Hitler?
