Does this apply to the x86 versions, or are they still buggy and slow? Also, how do you know the next feature they add won't slow down the Mac version, and nobody will want to go back and fix it? Or is the whole thing more stable and standardized than that now?

You didn't actually say a G3 was the minimum, but I'd still guess it's higher than the minimum for Rubicon. I guess you just can't keep the code that tightly optimized and still be able to experiment with adding new stuff. Also, you need to be able to draw longer viewing distances and stuff like that. I said "stuff" twice.

3D enemies walking around in 2.5D maps is kind of weird-sounding, isn't it? I don't know of a retail game that did that.
