I don't know if it's 'cause it's 4 AM, but this sounds like a really cool idea! Unfortunately it's been years since I touched Forge, besides, all I can do is writing, so I'd probably assist Yossarian in that...

Although this project would probably take some time to finnish too, as the more people you have working on it, the more time it will take to get everyone on the same page. Just look at Microsoft and how long it takes to get another Windows version out these days.
We'd probably need some sort of main page or hub, perhaps a *cringes in horror* mailing-list...
