In Response To: For Barkbat and Shiska... (Killercow) A theory is not a theory without some form of proof or justification. You go on about all these different things, and you have no ability to prove any of them. It's all guessing. You claim the Flood doesn't infect Jackals and Grunts, and therefore couldn't have been created by the Forerunner. In that simple sentence, there's already gobs of assumptions made for which you can not back up any of them. 1)We don't know that the Forerunner created anyone 2)If they did create some species, how can you prove which ones were? 3)You cannot prove that Flood does not infect Grunts and Jackals. This is all assuming they don't. 4) You may it sound like the Flood was created almost like an intelligence gatherer. We don't have the foggiest idea where the Flood came from or why they are in existence. Here is a valid case: Elites have some sort of relation to the Halos, whether it be an ancient relation or much more recent. My justification? The same symbols that are found on the Elites can be found on various walls in 343 GS. Now, my question is: What version of the game are you running in which guilty spark has provided you with such an insight into the purpose of the Forerunner? In short, feel free to make theories, but that's just what it is, a theory. There are holes, whether you like it or not. Proof for a theory cannot be given by creating more assumptions and piling them on top of each other. Assumption A may be true because Fact A is given in the game. However, Assumption A cannot be true if Assumptions B + C are true. It's like piling up a bunch of lies, trying to make a truth. |
