That's kinda what I was trying to say, if the movie flopped, it's something Bungie would have to live with. A stigma, almost. And to me, it wouldn't just be a matter of "Bungie'd get over it." If I were you guys, the last thing I'd want is such a masterpiece to be translated to trash. And like I've been saying, chances are that's exactly what would happen. ;(

Well, thanks, Matt. That clears up a lot. Also, I agree with you, pretty much word for word, on the subject, but that goes without saying. I've been pointing out that "Unless Bungie's making the film it's not going to be about Bungie's game" as my basic argument, all though I've never put it directly into those words.

This is one of those things where "I wish that I'd be wrong," but I seriously doubt I would be. I just don't have Brian's faith in the movie industry.
