In Response To: Re: The trend of pre-order exclusives.. (DEEP NNN) : Joking and sarcasm aside, how can a person be considered a fan(atical) of a : game if they don't intend to have the game on release day or as soon as : reasonably available thereafter? You're joking right? Are you saying nobody born after 1983 can be considered a Star Wars fan because it took them 20 years to buy the original trilogy? Or because they grew up watching it on television? The 20 somethings that go to Star Trek conventions, are they not fans because they didn't jump on the series as soon as it came out? What about everybody who calls themselves Bungie fans, but didn't know they existed until Halo and are thus buying Marathon, Myth, Oni, and PiD used (or downloading for free? Being a fan has only one factor: your passion for the material. : I believe I would have stopped being a fan(atic) of a game if I bought it on
