In Response To: arena football is more competitive than NFL (kidtsunami) : Football would be more competitive if no run plays were allowed, the field : goals were smaller, and if pass interference were allowed. The skill gap : would be much more increased and we would truly see the best players come : out of it. Actually, none of those things would make the game any more competitive. In reality, each suggestion you just said would make the game LESS competitive. Pass only = less complexity and makes the defense's job easier. Harder field goals reduces complexity and makes the defense's job easier. Allowing pass interference makes the defense's job easier. Glad you don't design games.
