But seriously, I don't know if the lessons others could take from this are the kind of lessons you'd hope they'd learn. Professional sports developed for a while before anyone decided to make entertainment out of them, and the video game medium is still stumbling around in the dark in pretty significant ways. Or in other words, people first played baseball because it was fun. It just also happens that some enjoyed watching it. If I were a dev, my lesson would be don't pay any attention to e-sport organizations and just focus on making great games. Were sometime to think it was worth watching like a sport, then fine.
