In Response To: Forerunner - Round 3 *new img... again* (Leviathan) : I thought I was going to do this tomorrow? So sleepy... : This hitting closer to the mark? Absolutely. I like how you incorporated the monolithic style of the Hannaford sketch while keeping the design your own. The way the armor seems to be made of a single material that's sturdy enough to be used as armor but can still bend at the joints seems totally plausible for the Forerunners, plus it allows you to divide the armor sections in a more creative way - with completely hard armor pieces, you're pretty much stuck with having the same sections as most other sci-fi armor (chest, pelvis, thighs, knees, etc.) Not covering it with Tron lines is also commendable - there's a certain charm about the mostly solid gray outlook; it somehow makes the suit seem more sturdy and powerful. The carvings make it unmistakably Forerunner and it doesn't need glowing power lines to get that across. I also recall it being said somewhere in Cryptum that Warrior armor was fairly ascetic and devoid of any lavish decoration, so it kinds of suits that idea as well. Like the rest, the new helmet is spot on. I like the visor design even better than Hannaford's Geth-like single eye. The lack of overused lights also makes the blue lights in the helmet seem more effective.
