I dis/like it, there are 2 ways to look at it

A hugee change from Dead Space 1. I feel like its the same situation, they want to show progress, they want to show new designs, they want to breathe life into the character There are two conventions here A. It should be that way because it has for a decade B. It needs to change because its been that way for a decade Holistically I dont mind the crazy ideas behind a new armor set, I just have a few issues with the design from the hip to neck If MC was born this way we would never know the difference, but its simply because we have been staring at him for over a decade in his current form. There are certainly greater issues Halo 4 could have than the MK VII armor Think about what Chief looked like in the CEA trailer at first, that certainly didnt last hell there are 3 different CEA chiefs, the trailer, the box art and the game Id like to see a bit more consistency but you cant deny that they atleast in some parts are taking feedback and the designs are evolving with time
