In Response To: These keep getting better (JDQuackers) : I'm really liking these Data Drops, and I'm happy that 343i is willing to put : in the due-diligence to try and "mesh" the H:Reach and TFoR : stories together. : Obviously there will still be discrepancies, but it looks like they're trying : their darndest to help blend the two together. This pleases me greatly. If we take these at face value, it's sort of a rewrite of Reach more in line with TFoR--the Covenant arrive earlier than the 29th of August, but all hell doesn't break loose until that last day. Which seems infinitely more plausible than an entire month of glassing going unnoticed. Admittedly we don't have the full details, but even if you transpose the beginning of Reach to the 26th or so it still makes logical sense in a more compressed timeframe. Either way, kudos to 343 as above.
