I was more asking if that was sarcasm or : denial or affirmation or what, because this sounds like two wrongs making : right. If you're going to be against retcons, you could at least be : consistent, and be against retcons of retcons, if you let that go who's to : say that won't be retconned, and then you've opened the door for : comics-style continuity and no one but the most lonely bored neckbeards : wants that. I'm for maintaining the original continuity, so no double standard. Halo should be one single continuity, that being the original one, and I'm opposed to any retcons that would erase it. The retcons in Halo: Reach did just that, effectively creating a new continuity that starts after ch. 23 of TFoR, and I want to see that new continuity erased and the continuity established by the novels re-established and maintained. 343i can and very well might do that.
