: I suppose that this has been done to death, but I'm going to say it anyway : because it bugs the hell out of me: Reach doesn't suck because of : continuity details. It sucks because it has no logical story and flat : characters. : They could have introduced as many expanded universe elements as they wanted, : but it still wouldn't have made up for this fact. I've never really understood this argument. I mean, I can understand the concept and the implication of it, but having played through the campaign multiple times in various settings and discussing it with a variety of individuals, I just don't get where people approach Reach with it. But you can trace a path, with reasoning, fairly easy from start to finish. And most of the characters, upon even minor inspection, start showing layers that match or even exceed some of their novelized counterparts. So, I suppose with that preface, I have to ask: Why do you say that?
