True, but a lot of H1's drama depends on the character not having that information. After one playthrough, the player has that information, but the character does not. Terminals in Marathon and Halo were interpreted as information given not only to the player, but also to the character. Mendicant Bias in Halo 3 is speaking directly and specifically to the Master Chief. The player gets the information by way of him. I think Avateur is asking a valid question: can we interpret HCEA's terminals, as narrated by Guilty Spark, as information given to the character? If so, how will that impact Halo 1's dramatic arc, which is largely dependent on the Master Chief misapprehending the situation based on incomplete information from 343GS and the incorrect conclusions he draws based on those? Sure, I know it's optional-- but it sounds like these will really needed to be treated almost like developer commentary in order to make sense; if Tim Dadabo narrates them all in Guilty Spark's voice, that won't make sense for terminals in human and Covenant environments. I'd prefer to think of them as in-character developer commentary delivered by the actor who voices Guilty Spark.
