If it's the latter, I can't say that I like the thought : of Guilty Spark being the one explaining anything to me. Actually, this is written in a way that's vital to your impression. Spark's behavior feels like he assumes you know a bunch of things already - that aspect will make sense to you when you see the Terminals.
