In Response To: Re: Halo 1 images are disingenuous (sharpsniper99) : The problem comes from when your opponent spams the trigger, the better : player would pulse the shot, but may die as a result of bad luck. The better player will respond to the circumstances and use the firing speed most appropriate to the range and weapon he is using. You don't take your time carefully aiming shots as a sword guy sprints at you just like you don't go hog wild while shooting across Powerhouse. As for the luck factor, I just don't see it as that big a deal. You will get far more kills by using the weapons at the right ranges and firing rates. Perhaps the funnest thing in the beta for me has been in SWAT. It is one of the best feelings to have someone trying to DMR spam me at AR ranges only to "play a different game" and line up the headshot and win. Everyone that wants to remove the bloom wants to rob me of those magical moments.
