In Response To: Re: On reticule bloom and spreads (cheapLEY) : Why is everyone complaining so much? Certain weapons have always been much : less accurate when you pull the trigger as fast as possible. The only : thing that has changed is now we can SEE how inaccurate it will be before : we pull the trigger. That's a good thing! There are folks who, like in the cartoon, don't fall until they look down and see they're off the cliff. (Or at least they're convinced they are in any case.) If they don't notice it, it isn't there; draw attention to it, and it's effects are plain... which means that it's what's drawing attention to it that causes it, from that perspective, instead of it already being there and just previously unnoticed. -- Steve does sometimes wonder if his Halo skillz were learned out of an Acme™ self-help book.
