In Response To: Where are the Reach screens? (ManKitten) : Any chance some Reach screens can be snagged? I have no problem with the : pistol in Reach. The bloom is appropriate for the weapon. My problem is : the combination of bloom and slow fire rate of the DMR. If it is supposed : to be the go-to rifle for spartans, I choose the pistol every time. : I've gotten into a few firefights at close range with the pistol and also the : DMR and have unloaded entire clips and not killed people. Then I had to : rely on melee to finish them off...except 1 melee didn't finish them off. : (Yeah that's right, I'm still complaining about melee.) In Halo 2 or 3 : these firefights would have ended much sooner. I don't think that's what the DMR is supposed to be for. If I'm understanding what you're saying correctly, you mean that you've been ousted in a Pistol vs. DMR fight because they were using a Pistol, right? I'm pretty sure that the DMR was designed to be medium to long ranged by design. So it doesn't turn into the BR of Reach. You know, one weapon that covers any range.
