...and no matter how many times I check it, it's not April 1st....damn.

I'm a little confused by this move and wonder what Bungie's reasons for choosing Activison over other publishers were. I just hope that Activison keeps out of Bungie's projects as much as possible. At least the publisher isn't going to own the IP, like what happened with Halo.

To anyone from Bungie who might be reading this:

I have loved your work dynamic for a long time. It has been wonderful to see a studio with such great design philosophies make it big. Don't compromise those principles that have gotten you here. Even if you succeed monetarily, the idea of Bungie will be dead. Replaced by some shell of a once great studio.

You probably understand the risks better than I do though. And I hope you guys come out of this for the better. Remember, make games you want to play, accept nothing less. Continue to move and impress us, continue to redefine what gaming is.

I, along with many people wish you the best in whatever you do.
