The sky-is-falling fears I'm reading here are practically identical to what I was reading about 10 years ago. I WAS IN THE SAME BOAT AS YOU! How could Bungie get acquired by MS? That doesn't look good! Look what they did to FASA! So things are different now? Damn right - in that now Bungie is a proven AAA dev. Consider that when they were NOT AAA, they still had the legal acumen and balls to sign up for something that gave them a way to GET OUT OF MS unscathed and holding all the cards. When that happened then I knew that all those years ago they knew what they were doing. What I'm seeing here is Bungie will *again* save a company's fortunes (MS back then during the nascent Xbox era - Activision now w/ their IW scandal that's pummeling their stock). I mean really - if this means that Bungie will be releasing their first PS3 title (along w/ Xbox/PC), that will *on its own* generate so much PR heat, that we may see sales numbers that *dwarf* what they've been able to accomplish so far from Xbox exclusivity. Could it all go down the drain? Sure, but not in the sense that Bungie is destroyed, just smeared with some goose poop. - M
