A lot of things changed since them. 10 years ago things were different and not many companies were underhanded...at least not openly underhanded. Microsoft didn't screw Bungie out of any deals nor did they screw any other company under them. (As for the whole Mac vs PC stuff....I never had this problem because my home built Mac could do anything. basically run almost any program and any game with the right connections. It still can today.) Can't say Microsoft was perfect 100% of the time, but this is Activision. The company that literally bought several companies just to tear them down all to make a profit. Not even because they were in a recession either. The only saving grace that Bunige has is that they are independent. So they could pull out of the contract without big problems like say with Infinity Ward. Bungie I trust.....Activision I do not. In order for Activision to get my trust, they are going to have to earn it back. Activision is known to "milk" a franchise even more than Microsoft. At least when Microsoft "milked" a franchise they tried to make good products from it. Something that was good and can sell. Activision, again, would milk something just to milk it regardless of the quality. If I had to choose between two evils, I would choose the lesser of the two.
