It was so distracting and obnoxious that you didn't remember it being there or its removal. It wouldn't have made a single bit of difference one way or another had it been in. I thought it was removed due to resource consumption, but apparently it was a bug, so I stand extremely corrected. Either way, I still think the light on the grenade is pointless is catering to people who suck at the game, and have stated multiple times that whether it stays or go doesn't make one bit of difference, but I still think it's silly and worthless (just like my argument is now :P).
