And they still clink about just fine in : H2 and H3, btw. Adding a light and extra sounds to them in Reach won't : change a thing and just takes up resources that could probably be used : elsewhere to make Reach run more smoothly. Trust me, grenade trails aren't going to break the game engine. They're already in Halo 3 in the form of smoke trails. The smoke effect would actually be more intense than tracer, because the smoke trail requires more textures (for the smoke animation) It's not like you can remove tracers from an object and then add like, an entire gun or something.
