In Response To: Re: He's lying! (Matt Colville) I tend to worry about loved ones coming home safe until I see them with my own eyes. But if someone I knew told me he saw them heading on the way home, I trust, right then, that my loved ones are indeed well and on their way home... until the minutes pass and I worry again as I am won't to do. And I sure would hate it if someone I don't really know starts whispering in my ear all the terrible things that could happen en-route to home just because they're a worse worrier than me! If what you say regarding Matt is true... then who does then know for sure? Is it just that much easier to believe words from some stranger than someone who is more in the know? Matt is the guy who speaks to the fans as the official voice of Bungie. He is ordained by The Man, to speak of things Bungie. He doesn't give out updates and news out of his butt. If he says Halo is coming home to the PC/Mac, be assured it's on the way unless he saw that a great big truck ran over the whole mess and it's then plastered all over CNN. "Woops, sorry folks, a 2-ton shipment of pork rind just smashed the gold master and the lead programmer who happened to be going the other direction carrying the last year's back-ups to the office that just went up in flames last week."
If you really think about it, asking whether MS is small or what it likes for breakfast isn't going to change the direction the great Halo machine is lumbering towards, but it will definitely continue this thread of endless speculation that lead to wild assumptions... all this because you don't trust Matt Soell? Dude, if I wuz him, I'd slap you with a glove for the affront. ;D Cheers!
