Heh, sorry...I meant "friend" in general. I'm not sure the exact details...You can probly search HBO's news archive...look for a mention of Ed Fries at Macworld (I think it was then) confirming Halo for Mac.

A valid point...but they also get a lot of market by getting it out to people who don't have the $$$ to buy an Xbox. That means they buy more Bungie later on (more market share), which means Microsoft gets money, which means Bungie will be more powerful when it takes over MS later on...;). I personally think that Microsoft isn't stupid enough to give up the money garnered from PC/Mac sales, as well as all the lost sales (and future customers) they'll have from angry fans who don't want to buy Xbox Halo, and so will buy nothing. Just because Microsoft wants market share doesn't mean they're not still a business, with profits as their main objective....
