In Response To: Aren't there simple solutions... (Simpsons Rule) : Why doesn't Bungie simply make two versions of the really large/most popular : playlists? For example, BTB Skirmish and [Insert Name of New Map Pack : Release] BTB Skirmish? I seem to remember a time where there used to be : nearly double the number of playlists are there are now. Maybe I'm, but : the list does look somewhat small. This could be an issue with the # of available players. One of the reasons Bungie continually tweaks or removes playlists is to ensure the pool of players for each list is large enough for matchmaking to work efficiently. Doubling the # of playlists would shrink the # of players for each pool (although locking out existing XBox players won't help either).
