You're misinterpreting what I mean by "scripted."

You're talking about comparatively linear level design. Scripting is when certain events will always happen in a specific way. E.g. in the demo the Longswords would attack, the Warthogs would run over the Jackals which would always be in formation and the ODSTs would always flashbang the Grunt corridor, etc.
