Isn't most of Halo 2 scripted anyway?

Isn't most of Halo 2 scripted anyway? There aren't multiple ways of getting to the various encounters you have in Halo 2. I can't think of any places in Halo 2 that had multiple routes or things like that. In Halo 1 there were levels like Silent Cartographer, where you could drive around the island using different routes, and if you were good you could skip the whole "security/unlock the door" portion of that level. You could bypass most, if not all of the enemies going down to the map room by climbing down the "shaft", and so levels like that had a very unscripted feel to me. There weren't really any levels like that in Halo 2, except for maybe some of the levels with ghosts, where you could literally drive out of the map and skip ahead.
