I personally would : rather have some cinematic things happening around me, as long as the : developer gives me enough stuff to do. I believe the problem with the demo (as cool as it still is to watch) is that the entire thing was basicly a cinematic dressed as gameplay to show off the gameplay they had at the time. The cinematics for Halo1 and Halo2 are only at particular times instead of being through out almost the entire game and they are clearly cinematics to move the story along.
