In Response To: better, blunter, longer (Miguel Chavez) : They've been burned countless of times whenever they announce something too : soon in the process. People ripped Halo 2 to shreds when it wasn't EXACTLY : like the demo. Jerk-offs. I have to call that one out. It's because the experience of watching that demo was, at least to me, demonstrably better than the experience of playing that portion of the game. I'm all for Bungie making sure the story is as important as it is in the Halo games. I do think, at some point, though, the experience of comparing the Halo 2 videos with the Halo 2 game leads to the conclusion watching the former is in some cases more fun than playing the latter. Perhaps the answer to that is to tell Joe not to make such kickass demos. Not sure how he'd like that.
