It might not be as bad as it sounds. The actual executable binaries only make up a fraction of the size of modern games, the majority of space being taken up by the 3D meshes, textures, audio etc (which shouldn't be affected by all this).
I might be completely wrong of course, with my non-existent knowledge of the Xbox architecture and the tricks that the game studios use to squeeze perfomance out of the console. Makes sense to me. |
