The problem with video game censorship in Australia stems roughly from a conservative ideology amoung those in state and national parliaments who apoint the members of our ratings boards. Most of the time it isn't a problem and appropriate age-groups can get hold of the games they want to play, but now and again a politician will take notice of a particular game, it will be all over the media, and the ratings boards will be pressured into "reclassifying" the title.
