	The True story Between Marathon and Halo

	In Response To: halo=marathon universe? (Thirdeye) I don't think the two games actually take place in the same universe. But lets not forget that In marathon we have a main character who has the ability to travel to different universes. Perhapse MC Hammer is just our security officer assimilated with the population of the Halo Universe. After his victory against the Wrcacntr he probably bolted off traveling from universe to universe, until he found this one. He started off hangin out in a distant part of the universe chillin with his Forerunner homies, eliminateing the universe of sentient life, kickin back a few brewskies, and creating hyper infectious sentiend viruses. Until things got awkward, and he had to explain to Guilty Spark that he doesn't go "That Way". So then he had to move in with the Covenant, but then they had to get all biblical on him, and he's like "woah Man, you guys are a major buzz kill." so trhen after a few millenia of nonstop partying, which did a number on his memory (Just ask George "Dub-ya" Bush), he finally decided to settle down, and raise a family. But the the Covenant get all pissed because aparently he owed several million Arks in back rent, plus he was always leaveing the toilet seat up. So they entered into a war with earth. And the Security Officer, feeling kind of guilty about bringing on the destruction of man kind, leaves his rewarding carreer guarding a self storage facility in Eugene, Oregon, and his wonderful wife of three years who is the regional manager of a succesful chain of Orange Julius stands. He enlists in the top secret Mijolner project. Of course he falsifies a few documents and pull a few strings, but the whole thing about being omnipotent sertainly didn't hurt. So there you have it the bridge between the Marathon Universe and Halo, now I'd like to know what all you skeptics have to say now, Heh. The only person to beat the Master Cheif at "Quarters" Alfred Mordeir
