| In Response To: Volunteers: Aye Mak Sicur (Mark Levin) : There's the mystery of the third Juggernaut,
I don't know how relevant this is, but I have found out that monsters can come through glass this way: Given: 1. Monster pressed against the glass (I mean _really_ against it, trying to do its melee attack pressed against it) within fist attack range 2. Marine with the fist pressed against the other side of the same glass. When the Marine punches the glass, he will end up reaching _through_ the glass, and sucking the monster out as he withdraws his fist. The monster is then free to do whatever it wants, usually use the Marine as a meat snack or die trying. I discovered this trick when I was trying to build an alien museum with Forge. I had the tick and the sewage yeti working right, but it you punched the glass the lava and water yeti would come out and try to eat you. It seems that the alien probably grabs the Marine's fist for a lift through the glass, or something. Graham. | |
