It's the ogl_flags you want. Unfortunately, there's no way to set some of them default, and some not. Detestable flags!

You'll want to move your prefs, fire up Aleph One to see what its defaults are, and toggle the ones you want to be different from defaults. Then copy the ogl_flags into the default prefs file.

You probably want to set scmode_accel to "1" too, fog won't work without OpenGL. The next version of Aleph One won't crash if OpenGL isn't available at startup, so it'll be safe to set that.
